A properly installed liner improves the draw of the flue, contains combustion byproducts, and protects the internal walls of the chimney. It also ensures compliance with current building and safety regulations.
How We Install Chimney Liners
When it comes to installing a chimney liner, we use our high-reach cherry picker to access the top of the stack quickly and safely, without the need for scaffolding.
The new flexible liner is carefully lowered into position from the top of the chimney, then secured usually by attaching it to a purpose made liner-hanging chimney cowl.
We are not HETAS registered and, as such, do not connect the liner directly to any heating appliance.
In most cases, we coordinate this work alongside a HETAS-registered appliance installer to ensure a smooth and compliant installation from top to bottom.
